Theatre Unites
January 13–19, 2026 · Zurich
Celebrate the grand finale of Parterra Festival with a night of music, theatre and unexpected awards — for the audience! Prizes will be given for Best Review and Best Social Media Photo, honoring the voices and visions of our spectators. The evening opens with Mussorgsky’s iconic piano cycle Pictures at an Exhibition, performed by virtuoso pianist Sofya Pisetsky. In the second half, a dadaist interpretation of Ivan Turgenev’s classic tale — strange, touching, and defiantly life-affirming. Directed by Vasilii Berezin. A night of reflection, resonance, and recognition — where the audience takes center stage.
Sofya Pisetsky is a Zürich-based concert pianist recognized for her expressive solo and chamber performances. She appears on major international stages, including Carnegie Hall, the Moscow Philharmonie, and the Tonhalle Zürich, collaborating with leading musicians.
This surreal collaboration between Paris’s Théâtre M.credit and Zurich’s art space Miu-Miu turns heartbreak into absurdity, and silence into spectacle. Directed by Vasilii Berezin, an international award-winning director of more than 40 productions around the world. In English and German.
