"Houston, We Have a Problem!" is a hilarious show of Playback Theatre about our daily battles with modern tech—from misbehaving gadgets to overly smart elevators and rogue robot vacuums. In this fully improvised performance, the audience shares their funny, relatable tech fails, and the actors instantly bring them to life on stage. Fast, witty, and unpredictable, it turns everyday digital friction into pure comedy—proving that technology is never quite as smart as it thinks it is. In German and English.

Karin Gisler, performer

Director of the Playback Theater Zurich, actress, facilitator, and clown. Traveling around the world as a trainer for Playback Theater. Preferably on the road in a camper with my husband, our dog, and the cats.

Nicole Zenklusen, performer

Nicole has been on stage since she was 5 years old. For 25 years, she has been working as a secondary school teacher and at the same time, she has been teaching social skills at the PHZH for 15 years.

Odin Anderegg, performer

Improvisational actress, theater educator, director, clown (in training), secondary school teacher, and life artist. I enjoy every day, as each day is full of surprises; life writes the most beautiful stories.

Florian Funk, musician

Musician (clarinet and bass clarinet) and secondary school teacher, band experience ranging from Klezmer to crossover, theater musician for 30 years, accompanying film scores, readings, and dances.

Yakov Yakushevsky, performer

For many years, I have been involved in Playback theater, which is an improvisational theater of audience stories. I also perform on stage as a clown and musician. The stage heals, develops, helps you feel alive, and keeps you in touch with the world.
